Smart LED lighting would help Brussels municipalities save 50 million euros (28/08/2018)

A new article has been published on Agoria’s website.

If the Brussels municipalities equipped all their public lighting with LED technology, they could save some 50 million euros, or even more when using intelligent systems that can be controlled remotely. This would also reduce CO2 emissions by 15,000 tonnes per year. These are the results of calculations made by Agoria, the federation of the technology industry. “What are we waiting for reducing our energy and environmental bill?” asks René Konings, Chief of Brussels Region at Agoria.
